How to enter or update your email password in the Mail app on an iOS device

If you need to enter or update your email password in the Mail app on an iOS device (iPhone or iPad), follow these steps:

For iCloud Mail (Apple ID Email)

1. Go to Settings > Your Name > iCloud.
2. Tap iCloud Mail, then ensure it's turned on.
3. If prompted, enter your Apple ID password.
